Tip for lifting the tranny on the jack.
When you get the tranny under the truck, take two ratchet straps and loop them around the torsion bars. You can now tighten the straps enough to lift the tranny high enough to get it on the jack.

QFT that is exactly what I did worked great!!!

Also just make sure you put the dipstick in before the trans, it will go in after but it is a serious pain!!!

Son of a @#$%^, mother #$&@%& There are two "Step 6" in the Transgo HD-2 instructions!!! I did the second one but not the first. I didn't drill holes A, B and C in the new Transgo Plate!!!! Are the holes already drilled to the soft setting? I'm going out of town until Friday night and installing the trans Saturday Morning, guess I know what Friday night will be like, haha. What size holes do you guys recomend for a DD with crisp but not jarring shifts. I'm thinking somewhere between soft and average. Should they all be drilled out the same or should I size them differently (ie, I know 2nd in notoriously firmer than 3rd)
