Default 4l80e?

Well a buddy of mine called me and said he needed to get rid of some stuff in his shop and had a transmission out of a 03' 2500hd. Of course i went down to check it out and its a 4l80 with transfer case and wiring!!!. I asked how much and he said ill load it now and you take it. Perfect! So i have a free tranny and transfercase. Question is can i just keep the transfer case on it and use that? I see a lot of people swapping input or output shafts on there 60e cases and not using the case for the 80e. I plan on going through the whole thing and doing some hd parts here and there. Also just wana check on my list of parts:
flywheel, spacer
modded crossmember, 2 driveshafts(4x4)
modded harness or conversion harness
linkage bracket(may be on it)
Tuning (slowhawk perf.)

I think i got everything, its a RCSB to. Thanks

transfer case should work some internal parts swaping maybe in order. when swapping mine out i found that the auto trac for the 1500 was slightly dif from the 2500 t/case.
I ended up swapping the guts from the 2500 into my 1500 case using the correct indexing hardware and encoder motor from my truck.

use the 2500 stuff they are better equiped.
