4L80 Swap Part List
I found a good deal on a low mile 4L80 locally to replace my tired stock 4L60 in my '03 5.3 ECSB Silverado. What Im trying to find is a definitive parts list of exactly what I need for the swap in the extended cab: driveshaft, crossmember, wiring plugs, etc. I found some wiring conversion threads, but no specific parts and install threads or stickies on a 4L60 to 4L80 conversion. This seems to be a pretty popular swap though so please help point me in the right direction of where to get started.
All I am getting is the trans and stock TC so if anyone has any swap parts for sale, let me know as well.

Ok, so would I still need the 4x4 case adapter even though everythuing is 2WD? Also, the TC bolts are just the ones that hold it to the trans itself, correct? Will the same flexplate bolts I already have for the 5.3 to 4L60 not work?
Don't I need a different crossmember or have to modify the existing crossmember or something?
This 4L80 only has 60k on it. Should I just throw a shift kit in it and it should be good to go to hold power up to 500 rwhp for a good bit?

I went ahead and got the 4L80 today. The guy CLAIMED it only had 60k or so on it, but it's out of an '01. I only paid $300 for it with the converter, lines, shifter linkage, dipstick, and some partial wiring so that seemed like a decent deal even if it has more miles on it. I guess next I need to get a Trango HD 2 for it, a modified crossmember, some plug ends, and a flywheel with spacer. Is that about it? Will my ECSB 5.3 driveshaft still work?
