Not sure. I was told 2500. A converter builder would have more info. There is not much info on line regardeing specific stall speed.

You Could try calling a trans supplier and find out what the code ratio is and what it should stall at.

YES!!! All transmission would benefit from one. Especially in performance applications.

My 60 is starting to slip so I guess I'll just push on and go through with the 80 swap. How difficult is it to install the Transgo kit? Is it something I could probably do myself without too much prior experience?

I guess I have a stock tranny cooler. I thought this was an oil cooler, but it looks like the lines go back to the tranmy. Here is a pic of it:

I haven't seen too many tranny coolers on 2WD 5.3's. Is it maybe because it has a towing package? Is this cooler as good as say a standard B&M?
