Default 4l6E core question

i have a 08 silv NNBS-
my 4l60E took a crap on the dyno, and broke the core in half. I've been having trouble finding a tranny or core , i will be using all my internals.

i got a hold of a 04 core- but they are diferrent on the oil passages. i wanted to know which yr did they start making these trannys.
