4/6 Drop need helper bags Which one's???
I have a 99 Sierra RCSB it has a DJM 4/6 drop and I need some helper bags for the rear. I can't really put anything heavy in the bed. When I have couple hundred lbs. in the back ,when I go over big bumps the tires hit. Stock wheels on it now. A parts number and a good place to buy will be greatly apperciated...
Thanks

I couldn't haul **** in my truck. I really pissed me off sometimes, because I love the look of the 4/6 drop but I want everything dual purpose and functional. I could barely get to my favortie riding spot with one dirtbike in the bed. Ended up getting some air shocks about 2 years ago. And they work great. Have had 2 bikes in the bed and a trailer with 2 jetskis hooked up so many times I can't count. Have towed a meduim sized boat quite a few times too. Just try to remember to air them up before you put the big loads in. These are the ones that fit on my truck... Monroe #MA812

Yea, i want to go 4/6 on my 06 crewcab but i need it to be fully able to haul dirtbikes and a small trailer. Im considering going with a 2/4 instead.
Is it possible to do a 4/6 and still have all the ability to haul things without any problems?

I have the belltech/firestone combo on my truck. It has been on the truck for almost 5 years and has worked great. They rate them at 5000 pounds. I have towed 6000 pounds with no sag in the rear.
The kit you want is the belltech air jack system, Belltech part # 5008. Here is the link to Belltechs website;

You can buy them from Summit;

Good luck, let us know how it goes.

well mort has them and recommended them to me because I was thinking about lowering but wanted to still be able to tow/haul. He has the same kit and says the ride is almost like stock.

I have another question what is the biggest wheel tire combo to fit on the Sierra in my sig. It is a step side and want to get a wheel thats fits right. Wheel width and offset and tire size i guess what I'm after.
Thanks guys

That AOL system worked great on my truck but I have a slightly different rear suspension on my 1500HD. I lowered my rear supension with hangers and shackles from McGaughy's. I was just able to fit the ARK4900 kit in front of the axle and it works great. It may not fit a 1500 frame and I would call first to be sure it will suit your ride.
I have heard Slam Air Helper Bags recommended from Air Lift but again do a little research to ensure that they will be suited to your application.
