Default 28" ET Streets + reg tires in front

i've read once or twice that running the ET Streets with reg tires up front cound be an issue? is this right? anyone actually have a problem?

i've also read that the tires get "wobbly" above 80. how wobbly? like "nervous i might lose control" or just a little bit shakey?

i'm also on an open diff...if that makes a difference in your reply.

Are you running 4wd? If not, I can't imagine it being a problem, people run ET streets out back with regular tires up front on cars all the time. Maybe I don't understand the issue.

If you have them under inflated they can get scary up top, just keep 15-20+ pounds of air in there and you will be fine .. You have done the motor and still havent done the rearend James.. The open diff might cause you to track wierd out of the hole, but I dont think you are making enough power yet to worry(you would have to unload the front suspension totally to worry about this)..

COME ON !!! I thought you where a goober back in the day, but this bad ..

Just messing with you man ..

Ive never ran slicks out back, but everything Ive ever heard is that it can get a little loose on the big end. Ive also hear that you should just accept it and not try and countersteer it, or else you could end up in the wall.

I run ET streets at the track. You will get some wobble if they are really aired down. If you havent ever experienced it before it can be a little wierd. The lower you go with the air pressure the worse it gets. You should start off with around 20 psi and start dropping the air pressure a little at a time until you stop getting tire slip. If you drive to the track on them just air them up before driving home.

i have the rear end, but unless you can completely back-half my truck in a weekend to fit the new wheels and tires, i can't really put the rear end on yet.
