How much room do you have under the junction box when installed? It looks like you could trim those legs down about 2" and still would have room for the connector.

i've seen scores of t56 swaps into fullsize trucks over the last dozen years or so - everything from RCSBs to suburbans. the common denominator is that the heavier the vehicle, the more fits it gives (or if people try to tow with it). also, high diff gearing eats clutches due to the trans ratios.

my bad... i assumed "that's the best anybody's done so far" following a guy saying his t56 swap was finished implied that the two posts were related.
