Haha I don't mind helping. The shock length depends on desired ride height from stock, current suspension mods, and intended use. So to answer your question, it depends 😁

Any other parts installed? What are you wanting to do with the height compared to where it is now?

No other parts installed,maybe do and 2” drop djm lower control arm but that’s later, hook good on no prep and on the street

Assuming you have stock arms now youll need a different lower bracket when you go to the DJM arms. So keep it stock height for now? I typically size from the second hole down so you still have some room to adjust the height. With that your median shock length would be about 16.5".
