Default 20 inch tire recommendations?

Its time for new tires. This set has around 12K on them lol. Im really wanting something that will last a little bit better. My last tires were never power braked or anything and looked completely horrible. Very hunked out all over the place. I currentyl have the size 275/45/20. I would like to keep the profile about the same. I really dont want any more sidewall, yet I want this thing to hook lol. Also no tucking issues would be nice, nor worry about rolling the fenders in.

Ideas? thoughts? and comments are appreciated.

Rims are the ultra series stingray 3's. 8.5 inches wide, 5.4'' backspacing, 19mm offset.

I would like the 305/35/20 nittos. But im unsure of clearances. Dont think it would fit.

275/40 could be a possibility of the same tire. 555r.

BFG 295s out back and 255s up front. But don't look for them to last long bro.... All those tires you mentioned are pretty soft.

Ever looked at the Generals?

i had 285/50/20 goodyear gt IIs.. and i was roasting them.... so i just switched to the general grabber uhp (i switched to a 275/45/20)... and i love it... once i put about 20 miles on them they really came in... i have to come to a complete stop to spin them. awesome traction... before i was spinning if i punched it anywhere under 30 mph.

no more spinnning through first and almost through second.....

i paid 300 for 2 of them shipped off of tirerack....

love them.. ive had the front ones on for a while.. just got them on the back last week....

I used the grabber UHPs on the GTO and they worked out pretty well. No complaints.
