Default 2'' lowering shackles

ok, im looking in investing in some 2'' lowering shackles, problem is i cant find any shops that do suspension here in houston, can i get a few VERY DETAILED installation procedures to do this, i have bad luck when it comes to my truck, everytime i do something, i have to take it to the mechanic to get fixed, only 3 things i did right were changing oil, rear axle, and gas filter, so please help, thx, and maybe yall have some places or websites i can go to for shops that can do it here in the houston area, thx

Most auto parts stores will carry the shackels...

They are the part on the back of the springs that connect the springs to the frame.

Put some jack stands under the frame to hold the rear tires slightly off the ground. Use a jack to hold the rear axle in place, this is to help relief the weight on the bolts.
Take out the two bolts, using the jack to find the sweet spot for taking out the first bolt. Then swap the shackle and use the jack to line up the bolt holes.
You can do one side at a time...

Pretty easy to do

I took off the four bolts connecting the bed to the frame to allow more room to work in. All in all, it's an easy job. Get some good tools and a good jack. Take your time and read the directions, you should be fine.

When I take off the shackles, aren't the leaf springs gunna drop? Or will it just lower, not completely fall?

If I just support the axle, will it also support the leaf springs? Or do I gotta get another jack for the leaf springs?

This is how I did mine shackles on my 05 (brief description)
put jack stands under the frame. do both sides at the same time
put the jack under the diff to raise and lower the leaf springs as necessary
take off the receiver
loosen the bolts and take off the bottom bolts
jack up the diff until the top bolts clear the frame rail and take them off
do the opposite to install the new ones.
Make sure you gease those things good or you might have a squeeky suspension

ok i was looking at it, and i have a problem with the old shackles, the head of the bottom bolt is like half an inch away from the bracket that is holding the shackles on, so how would i pull the bolts out, if i try to pull em out, i wont be able to pull them all the way out, it will hit the bracket that is connected to the frame
see there it is, once i take off the nuts, how am i supposed to slide the bolt on the bottom out? its less then 1/2'' away from the bracket that is bolted to the frame, please help, thx
