Default 2 built tranny's in a 3 month

Im having hell with the 60e's. I had one built and a TC refreshened. After getting it installed, and around 5000 miles, the converter came apart and screwed the whole tranny. Got it taken care of, different converter company, same builder. I then installed that trans on july 4th. Last night it came apart as well. I lost drive, manual 3rd and 4th. I have manual first and second gear and reverse. 2 questions.

Any guess to what gave on this one. Input sprag?

Has anyone heard or know of what the hell could be causing this. Like excessive crank play or anything......

The second trans had maybe 2000 miles, no track passes, no tuning. Sure ive gotten into it some, but mainly driving 50 miles to school and back everyday.

thanks for any input. Im thinking 80e im sick of this ****.

On the 4th trans swap, i put all new AN lines from the trans forward with a tru cool cooler (new). And i bleed some fluid out the lines to ensure they were good when I got the trans in.

You could have broken the input sprag but I am betting on the low roller clutch and suggest you check out your rear end and if 4x4 your transfer case. I don't know what happened to your other units but I have seen either of these take out the low roller in a trans a couple times before someone figured out what was going on .

Your truck just hates you!!! That is why you keep breaking crap....

J/K, hopefully you get it fixed this time... If you go 80E, with you gears your going to be turning some serious RPM going down the highway....

local built trans its built by a VERY reputable builder around here. I have been completely unimpressed. I dont know the brand of converter, 2400 stall. From a company he has been using for a while. The first converter that let go was a rebuilt PTC. Im really thinking and 80e swap from a sponser.....
