If it is an angle or driveline issue the 80 is going to fail too isn't it? It might take a little longer, but still is going to happen. I don't think a new trans is fixing the issue, you need to find out what is going on with the whole truck first.

I am still running a stock 60e with my 5.3 trick turbo and heavy CC truck...

By no means do i think an 80e will fix other problems. but i dont even kow if one exist. the first built tranny that went i think was from a rebuilt converter defect. The lockup clutches in the converter were burnt up. This one yesterday happend on a WOT 1-2 shift. My tune segment is stock in the trans department, of course NO torque mngmt.

Shouldn't a built 60e be able to handle WOT 1-2 shifts without TM? I hope so because that is what I plan on giving mine.

Dam I assure you its on my mind. Gonna see what happens when i talk to the builder tomorrow. The more I research it, the more i DONT want an 80e, seems to me the bottom end sucks, top end is good. And Looks to rob around 50 horses, holy ****... Plus build a crossmember, fix a few pcm pins....

I hope you get this sorted out. The 80e is worth it IMO.
