I suggest you give FLT a try. Let me know when it's running so I can go see it.

Who did the work???? TJ at the chevy house did mine in the truck, and all he did was order a new one under warranty, and install a TCI rebuild kit which included clutches, shift kit, servo. That tranny is still going strong, and it has been 25,000 miles with a heads/cam LS1. The reason for a new tranny was the converter I had in it. Lock up clutches burnt up, in return burnt up the tranny. When tranny was replaced, I put a Pro Yank in it, and everything was fine. I think his coverter's that he has been using "forever" might be the problem. Get a converter that is made for boosted applications, not one that is probably made from a company that still thinks 3/4 cams are the ****!

Broke the input sprag. Now what?? Go back with the same components and expect results?? He says he doesnt use the stock one. Said he uses an upgraded one that is double caged or something.

Hmmm, did he replace that the first time? Or is he just now upgrading it since it broke??

J/K, hopefully you get it fixed this time... If you go 80E, with you gears your going to be turning some serious RPM going down the highway....
Im turning 100rpms more than the 60E so its not bad... but with the 4.10s im sure its goin to be quite fun.. My dads 2500HD has stock 245/75/16s with 410s and he turns 2500rpms at 70?

If thats the same company (PTC from Alabama) they completely suck!! I went thru 2 of them with problems with the TCC. The first one didnt even fit for some stupid reason. One of them went out and i sent it in for a Cleaning and refresh and when i installed it the bearings were shot.

Yank TT3000 solved all those problems...

Dude its not hard at all.. I can send you the PCM pins and connector for the cheap!
Crossmember is the hardest part but its not bad.
The bottom end is dissapointing with a stock TC but top end rocks!! A lil 50shot got mine moving off the line just fine.
I say go for it!!

The sprag was upgraded on this one.

I would like the 60 to keep my stall and low end. I have pcm pins. I feel like the 60 should hold but dam.

I felt the same way.. but after fighting Torque converter problems and broken output shafts and all that BS.. a 4L80E was alot cheaper in the long run. I slapped a Transgo HD2 in it and loving it now...

I feel ya, i have a $575 Yank Converter sittin in my shop....

jsut to finish this for reference, the input sprag was rolled. Everything else showed to be perfect. So we went back with a new 2 cage one, same as last time and are hopeing for better results obviously. Hit the track on friday
