spindles and flip kit but flip kit lowers more than 4"
so it has shackles and hangers as well which supossedy raises it

Theres one on each side along with the shackle flipkit is 6 inches from jdm i believe so 1 inch lift shackle plus lift hanger = 4 inch drop

What year is the truck you're working on? 2 or 4 wheel drive?

DJM's instructions were a bit difficult for me too.

The shackle and mounts are in the back.

They also look like they are exact mirror of each other, but I could get one on one side and vice versa, but wasn't able to switch them.

I also had to grind a little in the bends of the shackle they provide because the rear rolled edge of my leaf spring was hitting and not allowing the bolt hole to align.

My flip was a 4-5". Flipping drops it I think 7", then the lift hangers brings it back up to 4" if you use the bottom hole, 5" using the inner one.

edit:
maybe this'll help. The red arrows are just pointing to where the roll in the leafs hit, the green line is how much I had to grind. But here's a pic of the DJM shackle & hanger in

On an 08, the rear is riveted. And the shackle flip will lift the rear back up, which takes away from the 7" drop of a normal flip kit.

Hope that helps.
