Default Stock like behavior from OEM fuel tank with fuel pump upgrades

Ok guys, I've read enough forums to make my head spin on the subject. I'm looking at doing a fuel pump swap that will allow me to retain stock like characteristics, I.e driving your truck to the gas light comes on, no hesitation from wot under a half or 1/4 tank. Doesn't anyone have any suggestions to this?

Aside from doing a dedicated fuel cell, I'm trying to get the most out of the factory fuel tank. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

Use one those mega huge holley hydramats for after market fuel pumps. Put the pump in the stock bucket to keep all that stuff and the low fuel light.

Those socks hold a ton of fuel. Bummer is that they cost a ton of money because it's from Holley.

Or just not let the tank get down below 1/4th and be flooring it everywhere.

Mine acts normal at low levels, I've never done a full 1-3rd wide open with 1/8 tank and don't plan to but at 1/4 it's ok. If you maintain the Venturi system it works much like stock.

What pump or pumps do you plan to run?

Haven't decided ion pump yet. The reason for this is because let's say, you find yourself in an emergency condition and need to punch it wot, to move out of the way of a semi, and your truck hesitates.... See where I'm going? It's not a what if question, because I've been in the situation before, with my low fuel light on and had to punch it. Seeing as to.how the vehicle was stock, I didn't have an issue doing this. I want to be able to use all of the fuel in the tank if need be

FFDP, I'm not sure I follow?

Atomic- that's easier said than done.

03sierralt- how is yours set up?

That module actually contains the walbro 450 ffv pump. It's advertised as a 255 module since it's only rated to support 550hp.

I have a single 450LPH pump that maintains the stock Venturi operation. My fuel bucket is not cut at all. I am in the process of adding another 450 but this will not effect how the system operates at low levels. My return line attaches to the oem return port in bucket so it functions like normal.

Do you have any pictures of how you kept your venturi with the 450?
