It has broke twice in my stock fuel module, new hose both times. I thought it was because I over tightened the worm gear hose clamp the first time. The hose had softened, though. I didn't give that much thought, I was sure it was the clamp's fault.
This time I used a crimp-on clamp, and I'm sure it was not too tight.
Also, the hose is obviously soft from absorbing fuel.
I rate this product 4 thumbs down, I definitely won't use it again, and I recommend that nobody else uses it, either.
Sorry, Gates.

Sure it wasn't dayco? lol...I switched to gates hose and have been running it for almost a year now. 6 months of it has been constant exposure to ~E45. If there are any sharp bends in the hose, it will rupture under pressure...even the good stuff.

How many miles before the failures?
I accidentally ran regular fuel hose/vapor/PCV hose, it even said NOT for fuel injection on the side (didn't see it before installing). I used it for about 1000 miles and swapped it out once I realized my mistake. The line was a bit mushier but worked.
I'm using Gates 27093 now, about 4000 miles on it. Gates 27093 - Submersible Fuel Line Hose | O'Reilly Auto Parts
