203cree for starters you can lick my *****. Everyone knows those mod motors don't run without boost. So apperently that statement don't include the L's or the gay *** harley trucks. If you don't believe take your super charger off and watch your L drop straight into the 16's. I have out ran every uncharged mod motor I have eve run and not just by a little either. The 05 3 valvers are real turds. Hope I made myself clear enough for you to understand.

my truck is 2500hd ecsb 4x4 16.1 ain't bad for it. What would a 5.4 mod run in a caparable truck? 17's 18's hence needing a sc to keep up.Compair apples to apples to dude. The guy that started this thread don't have a L so L's weren't in the discussion, but I guess you misunderstood that . A 2 wheeler rcsb running the same times I do wouldn't be as impressive. Since you like comparing your L's to heaveir non sc trucks how about comparing it to my camaro. That's the way most of you ford guys are, can't compare apple to apples you always have to have a advantage or you lose. Please feel free to quote me.

To begin with this is primarily a Chevy website (LS1TECH) so do you expect a huge support team when talking Ford. There are other Ford based sites out there with a lot more support than you will get in here! As far as the push rod heads flowing more than the 32V heads stock for stock I don't see it! These heads have proved that they are capable of supporting around 800+ hp untouched the Cobra's are doing it, and with dyno times to back that up. As far as the mod motors not making power without boost that is far fetched b/c on the other analogy you could say that GM engines don't make power with out spray! We all know this is not true. I have been into mustangs for years and have a side business building those cars and can personally say the Mod motor will run with out boost. The reason for the abundance of forced induction kits is when the mod motor came out it wasn't taken to very warmly and the only perception was to put a blower on it. That was 10 years ago this is now and the aftermarket has answered our prayers. Along with Ford building a better PI head for the 2v crowd. The 4V head has never been a problem! The 05 Mustang with the 3V motor will once again prove to be a hit. This car will run low to mid 13's stock (Traction of course). I am open minded when it comes to American muscle but to completely bash another product is crazy. I am primarily a Ford man but like several GM products and if I didn't buy Ford would purchase GM. Love the GTO's,Vette's (of course, who doesn't
) But the Mustang is fast no matter how you slice it (this car has a resume a mile long) and Lightnings, etc. It basically boils down to what you want.

Also take consideration the Lightning motor would be a low compression motor (8.5:1) without the supercharger! So a 16 would be about correct. Lower your chevy to 8.5:1 and the outcome would be the same.

Pick up a Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords and you will see so many pages of aftermarket parts it will make your head spin. As far as price,Not that bad, just one suggestion don't go to a Chevy based shop to buy parts they will always be high go to a dedicated Ford performance parts shops.
Coast High Performance,Livernois,Modular Performance, and DSS to name a few!
