I remember going from the 75/83 to 80/96 turbo. Truck was seriously doggy around town and lazy to come into boost. But good god, once the turbo came online up top it was a riot. At the track it was irrelevant of course, just brake boost and go. With the smaller turbo it was the opposite, boost came on fast and fun, but up top it was a snooze fest.
03sierraslt, I think you're seriously at a disadvantage with the heavy truck and small cubes. At that weight, you will be quick with 1k, but it's not going to be blazingly fast. 10 second truck, but most likely soggy around town and maybe slightly faster than a stock z06.

Single is easier to fit but twins don't have to look cluttered. It's only 1 more turbo, air filter assembly, waste gate, down pipe, and oil lines.
One pitfall many builds get into.
"I want X horsepower now. But I plan on building a bigger engine and then I want xx horse power. So the turbos increase in size and are over sized for the current build.
Build the kit for the goal.
If you want 1000 build for 1000 not 1500hp.
You'll be way happier while driving it.

Rick, do you have any more pics of how stuff is setup on the twins?
Figures, I was very close to welding a fitting into my oil pan a couple months back before installing motor and just capping it. But I didn't. Oh well. If I do this I'll change my cam so dropping the pan is not an issue.
