Who has ran Both- PD blower and a turbo? Not together

I'm pretty sure kyle has too (kb). I'm sure he will find his way to this thread.
everyone forgets about kenne bell. they have the 3.6, 4.2 & 4.7. a full accessory swap would be required to run them though.

I am thinking I'll end up with a single. The twin setups are way to cluttered for me. I'll need to sell off my blower first I suppose. I am not in a hurry, still breaking in new motor so....
What's everyone's intake suggestion? I'll have to run aftermarket rails with my fuel system. I am not afraid of rpm, my motor was built to handle 7k all day with the blower so with a turbo that should be nothing.

I don't forget about them, I had one before. I just don't care for them. They have some serious IAT issues. I've already spoke with Kyle. Mainly just picking his brain.

I really want something lighter, but I've had this truck since new and even my wife wants me to keep it. It's clean and I am picky, I would be hard pressed to find something used that meets my standard so I would have to redo the whole thing. I have two trucks so don't want another, and I have a car as well. I have enough vehicles. So Ive resorted to keeping it.

yeah I hear they generate some heat. I haven't driven mine enough to know. hopefully my 10 gallon reserve tank helps with that.

I really think a badass LSX454 NA engine would be really fun for you, and throw on a 200 shot for good measure. I just dont think you are going to be happy with a 1000hp turbo setup if you are wanting snappy. Been there, and without brake boosting, it was a dog.

from what I understand (never drove a turbo myself) turbo is good for track and highway pulls, and blower is what the drivers enjoy driving. aka, technically the turbo will typically be faster on the strip, but the blower will be more fun to drive on the street.
