So Where does everybody mount the trans cooler stock or aftermarket? Tricks website tells you to move it but that’s it.

most of the time it goes in front of the intercooler.
Some truck can go behind where others put them under the truck with fan.

Old thread bump.

Just looking around for more A2A setups behind the grille on 99-02 while keeping the A/C condenser where it's at. I have my eye on a 4.5" thick core for my Twin setup and so far it looks like post #8 from Beatdown is the direction I'll have to go with the grille.

Default Went with a 2500 core support. It’s a 2005.

I was able to fit a 5" intercooler into mine. AC condenser would fit behind the IC and infront of Rad but I ditched AC.

Nice! I'm still assuming you've had to trim the grille? Did you need to trim the bumper any? That is exactly what I would like to do with this TT intercooler and run the outlet down below the support and back up to the TB. Is that bar between the bumper mounts OEM?

I have a 3" trick inter cooler on my 2001. I made brackets and mounted the trans cooler beside the inter cooler (passengers side), not in front of it. It just fits.

Yeah I'll most likely relocate the transmission cooler maybe down low or under the truck with a fan on it. I'll have all kinds of room where the OEM fuel tank won't be anymore as I have a DB Rods cell being built. If I go smaller thickness core I need to go longer hot length in order to support the same HP so that still may be a possibility. Ideally as I haven't had my front grille/bumper off yet is to know what room there is width and depth wise going in between the bumper mounting brackets. So can I fit a 4.5" thick by 20" wide (width wise across the radiator) and down into the frame and out the bottom or could I go with a 3" thick core and 24" wide and still fit through there. I know Trick mounts all his newer style IC's in that they come up from below the bumper and into the grille area but don't know how wide they are on the end tanks as that could give me an idea on which cores to pick out.

Do you have a link to your build?

Is your truck a 1500 or 2500? I was under the impression that a 2500 rad support wouldn't fit a 1500. Thanks,
