Yea, 4" core and it's mounted right against the condenser.

I just pulled the trigger on a cx racing 31x12x4 w/3'' pipe kit and a blankie for the little mp70...getting closer to rolling big power

We are building a 4.5" for an overseas customer.
The design will be available in 3, 3.5, and 4.5".

The thicker the core, the more it will flow and cool, if compared to the same dimensions with a smaller core. No reason to run the smaller on unless you're just dead set on not cutting or moving anything.

Got the intercooler mounted yesterday,wasnt near as bad as I thought.Lots of trimming on the grille,little on the bumper moulding.I will try to get pics later.

Our 4.5" race core does require trimming the A frame and lower core support.


We didn't trim it on the test truck. It must be kept in as stock as possible.
Core is rated over 1200+hp.
This core fits between the two large bumper bolts in the middle area.
3" inlet/outlet
USA built core.
Max-flow
Max - cooling.
Available in 3.0", 3.5", and 4.5".

very good info but my truck is 05, does anyone know if it has more space or less then a 99-02 for the intercooler, thinking on fitting a 4" behind the grill

05 Chevy has more room. We offer a 3/4/5" for that year model.
6" has fit but dammmmmmmm close to grill.

great! 2 questions:

does a bigger intercooler and piping afect fast spooling? (its more space it has to fill before building pressure)

u think i could fit a 5" IC and leaving my 40k transcooler in this possition:
