What kit are you actually using?

 

I was under the impression it was the 2.9 Camaro Kit.

 

According to his first post it is a "camaro tuner kit with the cathedral port intake manifold"

 

Whipple makes 2 lower manifolds for the 2.9 I have the" Camaro kit" on my hoe with L 92 heads but i run the truck acc drive we machined 1/2 inch off the back of the alt brkt and bolted a plat to the motor that is drilled and tapped to move the alt brkt to the driver side so it clears throtttle body they flip it over to clear the shaft and pulley

 

Is that the only modification necessary to run it with the truck accessory setup? Is there any accessory difference between your truck and the GMT900 pickups?

 

Also, how does this alter the throttle body position in relative to factory? Could an intake designed for the factory intake manifold still work or does the throttle body position change too much for that?

 

For what its worth I posted this write up a few months back on how i installed the 2.9 on my 2003 6.0 Escalade. The 6.2 should be basically the same setup. It's not undo-able it just takes a little self engineering and fabricating .
