Who in their right mind thought that a 6.2 Chevy with these high-flow heads should have the same blower as the 4.8, or a 4.6 Mustang???
Are you refering to the 2.3L Whipple?

Yes. Whipple sells the 2.9 for 6.2 F-150s, F-250s, Raptors, Camaros, Corvettes, etc, but all GM trucks (4.8-6.2) get the 2.3.

Dont worry, the 2.3 will move enough air to blow up your 6.2 just fine.

Well said

Here's the e-mail; they didn't bother to answer why they put they put the 2.9 on all the other 6.2s but not ours:

Though we do (he meant don't) advertize a kit for the 07+ trucks and SUV's using a larger supercharger, I have had quite a few customers install the Camaro 2.9L kit on the trucks with a few minor mods. Either changing the front drive system to 2010+ Camaro or making a bracket to shift the Alt/PS bracket to the drive side about 2" to clear the bypass valve. You will need to custom tune it though.

Same drive spacing but the placement of the accessories are totally different.

So he is saying that either the accessories need to be jogged around to duplicate the Camaro's or a bracket needs to be fabbed to offset the alternator and power steering?

Yes, if you notice the OPs pictures, he made a bracket to move the alternator to the driverside further. The actual spacing off the block is correct just the orientation of the accessories is wrong. Although apparently not too bad as all it required was a single bracket to move the alternator.
