How would I know where stock orientation of my MAF was? Know that I've put my CAI on & off a few times? Does it matter which direction MAF is twisted, or does going 1 direction instead of other produce a better result?

Or is it more the actual distance?

Interesting.
It just can't process air flow that is not perfectly straight through the sensor. I had pictures of where the stock MAF position was, but since the shape of the intake has changed it really doesn't matter now.
Still working on the running rich issue...

Got the wideband installed with the door gauge mount from 2007chevy5.3l. I think it looks pretty slick

You NNBS guys are lucky to have a cool Door guage mount.

Those three gauges look great in that orientation, lots better than a 3 pillar pod.

the stock location of the MAF sensor is ~ 4 inches or so from the airbox, and the sensor should be positioned with the plug and bottom piece from the pic below facing up.
