Exclamation what tires for a turbo 5.3?

The truck is a 2000 rcsb silverado w/ 5.3. I put the on3 single turbo kit on it. it boosts 6lbs, and the tires dont hook. the motor is completely stock, id really like to keep the snowflake 20s if i can. any thoughts? thanks

What tires does it have now? What suspension does it have? With just 6psi on a 5.3 you might get a nice street tire with proper suspension to hook.

Some traction bars and adjustable shocks would probably help considerably. As well as a decent performance street tire. The Nitto 420s on my Tahoe have surprised me it's not boosted but it is a 6.0 and it actually hooks on the 1-2 shift which is pretty violent. Before the Nittos it had Bridgestone all seasons and it would easily smoke the tires in second.

Get a boost controller first and dial in the hook.

Tire Rack rates all their tires by traction and other features.
