Default Toyo Proxes S/T Tires

Sorry, I did not see a section about tires. Thought the general section may be ok.

I am in the business for new tires and this tire seems to be pretty well liked. If anyone has any input about them, please help me out.

Some will complain about wet traction. I don't think any tire will help me there. I love styling too. They are quiet and handle well.

Yeah, I'm looking at getting a new set soon, mine are still good but about 50% at 15K miles. Damn, I'm used to tires lasting 50K, lol.

Bill,
You can get tires to last that long, the are just not good for traction
Maybe you should get drag radials for the track and save your street tires some ware and tear

I can't imagine what a set of 4 Dr's would put me back and besides, I really need the good footing on the street where I run in 2wd most of the time.

I have the 275/60-16 Toyos on stock 16" wheels. I like them except for wet traction. I'll barely give it some gas and the tires will spin in the rain. No complaints otherwise.

Another with them, excellent dry traction, bad when wet. Wearing like rocks, but going with Nitto 420s or BFG KDWs next time, just for change of pace.
