alright fellas I am joining the darkside and need some help. I have an Lq4 bottom end with P&P ls3 heads and I was wandering what size turbo to go with? this is going in a mustang with an 80e behind it. its not going to be driven everyday and im going to stick with the stock bottom end right now. also after I get the turbo I will be gettin a custom cam for it also. So what do yall think ????

 

you might want to go over to ls1tech... plenty of builds just like yours in the forced induction section! but if your on a budget i would go with a s480! good for 1300hp and will give you room to grow later on.

 

What are you going to use the car for...? Weekend warrior, or track only type?

prob something in the 76ish inducer range

 

How much power? What are your goals for the car? How do you want it to drive on the street? How much do you want to spend? All needed info when choosing a turbo.

If you say 1000hp and instant spool on the street, I'm going to kick you in the shin!!,

 

s400 series!!!! good little, actually theyre huge, turbos!
