Default Want to run stock airbox

2006 with a KB set up and a Magnum 72, what elbow set up works for connecting to the stock airbox? The turbo inlet sets below the airbox outlet on my truck. Over the years I thought I remembered seeing a few set-ups like this but now I want to see some pics and having a hard time finding any, pretty much everyone runs a 90/open element set-up.

You would have to run a flex hose.* wire reinforced hose. Something that won't collapse.

Or mod the air box lid.

A 4" 90* silicone, a hump couple and some 4" tube would probable get the job done

You need to check the cfm's the panel filters flow...much less than a round open element .

Also interested in doing this but wasn't sure how much of a restriction it would be.

If you want to run a stock airbox, try and find a newer Dmax airbox. They flow a lot of air.

This was all rough fitting it.
I used black RTV around the 4" goin into the airbox to seal it.

turbo is really really quiet outside the truck. but towing you can hear it inside pretty good!

I took the filter out on the high boost passes and it comes alive.
