The guy I bought it from had it dyno tuned. So maybe they changed the tuning. I have a super chips programmer that came with the truck that says vin specific and has a sticker with my trucks vin on it. I have drove the truck like this for 2 years. 1500mile trips and several trips to the drags. It hasnt blown up yet. Maybe I've just been lucky. The truck has never ran like I thought it should. I called Wester's Garage they sayed the computer they tuned for the truck(which isnt insalled yet just came with the truck) would be good and tuned right if i change to the 2.87 pulley. Obviusly sounds like i need a tuner of some sort and a dyno. Does anyone know of one in tulsa ok area or maybe wichita ks? I maybe asking dumb questions but I'm just trying to learn what to do.

 

Dunno If you fixed the problem cause this is an old post but i just went down to the 3.125" pulley and I had to add 42# injectors and a fuel pump because i was super lean. It was acting like yours before the pump. Have you had any belt slippage? Im at 10lbs of boost i gotta figure you would be at 12lbs which is a lot w/o meth or aftercooler.
