Have you fixxed the compressor surge?? That is exactly what my supercharger sounded like when my bypass wasnt opening because of the idiots who originally installed my larger blowoff valve screwed up the line somehow.

i am not going to worry about it till i can get on it. it doesn't make that noise if i go from wot to closed throttle, just when i go something like 3/4throttle to 1/4 throttle. i got a main seal kit today and am going to rip into it tomorrow.

sure the rear seal is in properly? I changed mine yesterday because I put it in backwards.....dumbass i know. Right NOW i am using the turbo inlet to pull vacuum for the crankcase...using a catchcan inline. I need to check the pipes and see if its pulling any oil in.

i am not sure of anything, just that there is a big *** leak from that area. prety much has to be the rear main unless there is a crack in the cover or something odd.

i have a seal infront of me right now. how do you tell wich way it should be installed? this seal has a soft rubber lip on one side near the edge of the seal and on the other side it is made of firm plastic and is recessed from the edge of the seal. i would guess that the soft part of the seal goes out and the hard plastic goes in?

mine cam with a white plastic ringthat u can squeeze in side the seal to help install it. and i'll check my books but i'm 99.9% sure that the single edge goes in first. which is the reason you have to have "the tool" or use the white plastic ring. i'll go check for which way for sure for ya.

ok well it doesn't say so just put it in the way it comes out lol. but what it does say. DO NOT get any oil or other lubrication on the inside diameter of the seal or the out side of the crankshaft. DO lube the outside of the seal and inside of the rear cover. and it tells how to use the tool but if you don't have it you can't very well use it lol. but like i said i used the pastic ring that came with it to spread it out so it goes over the crank easier. if it binds just a little it will cause a leak. oh and its hard to get the old one out.

Mine is the same way, it has to do with there not being enough pressure to fully open the BOV, not really a big deal since you are probably not making a lot of boost when it does it...

ok then, i got the tranny out and there is a slight gap on one side of the seal. it is hard to belive that much oil can come out of that small of a hole in that short of a time. the new seal i got came with the plastic thing. i thought it was just a shipping deal.

i didn't get any instructions at all. what is said above seems odd. no oil on the inside of the seal or crank? but oil the seal bore and outside of the seal?
