^^Why don't you launch in 4wd then switch to 2wd after the 1-2 shift?

I do, and the light changes, but the 4x4 is definately still locked in. I've asked & asked if there is a way of changing this, but I never get any answers. Some say their truck shifts out. Mine does not.

Oh, was just wondering! Cause my buddies (Bumpers) truck shifts out of 4wd. Weird that yours doesnt!

do you have the floor shifter or push button? i believe the push button will stay locked if you stay at WOT

I have the push-button. I never tried lifting. It's a freaking drag race........

pretty sure the system wasnt designed with the drag strip in mind, just one of those things you have to deal with or not use at all

im not sure how the system works exactly, but I was under the impression it was a mechanical issue with the system disengaging rather than an electrical/tuning issue.

My truck is push button and it disengages.. Even the ones in the floor are actually electronicly engaged and disengaged or so I've heard
