If you're launching in 4x4, it probably isn't actually shifting into 2 wheel. It really hurts me on the big end.

Get a boost gauge on that thing before you start thinking about buying a pulley.

Do not look at it as "loosing boost" you are gaining flow, and its all about how much air you can flow.
This. If you don't think a restrictive exhaust is hurting your s/c performance, please take it off and send it to me so I can put it to good use

Boost is also a measurement of fun

Pulley down and throw some LT's on and your impression of the s/c will definitely change.

I have a 3.3" pulley on mine and hit about 9.5lbs. Any more and I would start to worry about the bottom end...

They may drop the exhaust backpressure 2psi, but they don't have anything to do with boost. A 3.2 would be a nice kick, probably somewhere around 10psi boost.
Yea just a cheap bolt on I think Im still having some sticker shock off the tvs that will get better with time. Im for sure doing long tubes, pulley, and boost gauge soon. I gather from the post that 9-10 is the max boost on the stock bottom end right

I'd say put a 3.4 pulley on it and really tune it in. If you're new at tuning don't just add timing. Tune and calibrate.
