Default TurboGibb's old setup has a new home!

I'm running Mark's old front mount setup now...pt76gtsh, fmic, etc etc. The rasp is gone from my exhaust (and so is a lot of the lope from the cam). Off-idle torque went up by a noticeable amount, and I love the turbo sound! I'm running without a boost controller right now (Mark said he thinks it's a 6lb spring in the wastegate), and I think there's a leak somewhere cause I'm seeing about 5psi at part throttle and only 3-4 psi at WOT. I'm going to get the tuning down and try to take it to the track this weekend. I'll get some pics tonight if I get a chance.

Thanks Mark for the great deal and all your help!

Here's the only pic I have so far - took it with my camera phone after we finished installing the fmic. It hangs down kinda low - I may try to raise it a little more to get it up inside the air damn. As it sits right now I think it will hang down about an inch lower than the air dam. I was nervous about notching the frame.....but I'd rather have the fmic protected behind the bull bar.

All of the hot parts were direct bolt ons. He had the intercooler mounted behind the grille (I think his truck is an 05), but there wasn't enough room on mine. I guess the 03+ have more room back there. Other than that, it was pretty straightforward.

So how does the low end of your truck feel now? I remember the problem right after assembly was mot likely the very los SCR due to your cam choice, but the low comp was good for boost. Now you have boost. Like it?

So far seems good. I think the higher backpressure from the new setup helped out off-idle torque a bunch, but I really haven't gotten on it a lot because the tune is waaay off. Some spots while cruising I bottom out the WB at 10.0:1 and some spots I've seen as high as 18:1 AFR

My VE table looks like a spike pit from the old Mario games
