Turbo Oil Drainback?
#1
Where are you turbo guys running your oil drainback fitting? I see a nice flat spot on the passenger side of the pan, and my T76 is getting mounted on the passenger side. I'm thinking just weld a #10 bung there and be done with it?

I used a -10, but put mine on the drivers side of the balancer. You can weld it if your gonna have the pan off, but you can also drill and tap it just fine with it on the truck. Just make sure you hose fitting will clear as well, and that you stay above the oil level

I just tapped mine and ran my drain the other day. I drilled and tapped on the front side of the pan under the balancer. It was super easy and as long as you take your time and use plenty of grease you can do it will on the truck. Really alot of room I just had my truck on ramps and had plent of room to sit under there and do it comfortably.

I'm out in the field right now (oil field) but as soon as I get back I'll take some pics for you. Idk if the nbs trucks are any dif then the nnbs trucks but my drain line clears everything and is a pretty straight shot from turbo to pan.

If you look about half way down or so on the first page of my build thread you can clearly see how mine is setup with the engine/turbo hanging in the air on the hoist. Line looks close to the balancer, but it's never touched, and never any issues as far as the angle of the line going into the pan.
