that sounds like a REALLY shitty setup.

IMO don't do anything unless you have the money too. If you cheap out, somethings gonna get messed up and you're gonna be up creek

haha, thanks dick

The only reason y I said piece it together is cuz it doesnt seem like a big problem to me. Get a turbo.. Either buy the piping and manifold or just buy the manifold and build the piping (simple enough) then put it all together. Run some oil lines, get a new fuel pump and bigger injectors maybe, and its done. 5-8 PSI turbo is complete?

Look for a complete sts kit that is cheap there are usually several on the for sale section. that is your cheapest route. If you try to piece things together you will spend a bunch of money. Turbo isnt cheap and if you buy incomplete stuff, the rest of it will nickle and dime you. ..................good luck with the pots and pans!

hahaha, thanks man.
The only reason Im not looking for a kit is cuz its fuggin 5gs... I dont have that kinda dick to play with haha. I've found numerous T3/T4s on ebay for under 300... one currently at 150. I just think that'd be so much easier. Then a fuel pump, if I need to buy it new its not gonna rip my *** hole ya know

i built one out of exhaust tubing for my old bosses 87 gmc..he had less than a grand in it..it was a remote style..the ebay turbo is now too small for the 6.0 he has in it now..has worked flawlessly for the last 3 years now..the guys that came to the okla truck gtg to see it on the dyno with the old turn 5.7 in it
