Default turbo help 6.0 lq4

Whats up guys just picked up a trans am with a lq4 swap has a GT45R turbo has a couple codes such a the tps and a couple 02 sensors idle was going up and down so I disconnected the iac sensor but even before that I had a running problem turbo would kick sometimes and other times it would spool and seem to choke out and pop before I let off going from first it seems like it boosts fine but the gears after thay it seems like it wants to choke out. Lq4 has 317 heads ls6 intake mani 70 lbs injectors with an upgraded fuel pump. Im thinking it might be a fuel problem but im not so sure new to gm motors any help is appreciated thank you!

17.0 is very very lean, if you are getting that AFR under boost you should stop going WOT asap. either you have low fuel pressure or something going on in the fuel system

See what the fuel pressure is and if its ok Id go find a good tuner and have him look at it. Because for all you know someone could have built it and tried to tune it themselves that has never tuned.

Yeah your pistons arent going to like 17 a/f for much longer

How much boost does it make?
