Default Flex Fuel Injector and Wiring Harness - Convert to standard high performance injector

Hello All. I am mid-install on a magnacharger. I went to plug the wiring harness into the injectors, and they will not fit. After doing some searches of pictures on the net, I believe that because my vehicle is FLEX fuel, it has different injectors AND a different wiring harness than normal set-ups. As a result, I am unable to connect the high-performance injectors that installed as part of the magnacharger kit.

Does anyone know of a conversion kit from flex fuel wiring harness to standard injectors? I'm sure others have run into this issue plenty of times. Thank you for the help.

I don't think the wiring harness is different, but the plugs to the flex fuel injectors are different. You should be able to get the standard non-flex fuel style plugs and replace the ones you have to work with the injectors that come with the maggie.

Default Do you know the pound rating of the injectors that come with Magnacharger

And how those compare to the pound rating of a stock flex fuel injector? I have found one person who claimed 38 pounds for a stock flex fuel injector, but don't know that to be accurate.

Will swapping the connectors allow me to run standard injectors?

Are you tuning this with a handheld programmer from Magnacharger that came with the kit? Or are you getting a professional tune? If you are getting a professional tune, just get injectors of adequate flow rating that plug in and tell your tuner what you have.

flex fueled vehicles use USCAR style injectors, those are what all current models are leading towards, a good direct bolt on injector is available using those connectors
