Is there a chance that water will settle in the FMIC?

I think I will try the water spray infront of the turbo just to clean the the turbo and engine. I can though remove the IC pipe at the throttle body and spray directly into the throttle body.

I have some black deposite on the door of the garage when my truck is running. Also, on one day, I noticed little spot of oil in the IC inlet pipe when I lost a tube coupler that I put back without any damage.

This was before I remove old catch can to install MM catch can with 1/2" hose from both valve covers to the vented catch can.

Not needed in my opinion. Looks like seafoam equivalent. Methanol would work just the same.

same as Atomic said^^^^ we used to do this to our carbed motors all the time back in the day. we would either use methanol or warm tap water and fill a solo cup and rev engine to around 2500-3000rpm and slowly pour small amounts in the carb to bust loose the carbon and such on valves and pistons. worked really well but i wouldnt think that today's fuel injected vehicles would require it like the old carbed stuff would.

ive never tried it through any of my turbo stuff though

Read seafoam has negative side on turbo and some engine parts.

I am talking about spraying in the turbo and engine be it water or revive solution.

I tried the water spray and I kind of felt the engine rev became smoother and better afterwards. Although most of the water setteled in the 90 degreed rubber joint inlet to the turbo. Had to turn it to point downward to get rid of the remaining water before puting back the filter.
