Taking a cue from the STS guys I am installing a different intercooler on my truck. It has a 11.5" tall, 23"wide, 4" thick core. I am hoping it will help drop my iat's some. It's a good bit larger than the Procharger 3 core, but I dont know if it will actually be more effecient. I'm waiting on a 90 degree silicone elbow to get here so I can finish it and drive it. I only notched one side of my frame which of course caused it to be off centered some, but I didnt want to cut both sides not knowing if it was actually going to perform any better or not. The air dam has to be trimmed up some to so it will fit better.

How much notching did you have to do on the frame, isn't there like 22" or something between the rails, so probably not much.

 

Notched a little over 1.5 inches

I have the same I/C on my truck. Temps stay about 20 over ambient in traffic and about 10 over on open road. At the track they were at 30 over at the 1/8 mile. never made a full pass. I think you will with it.
