Default wynjammer superchargers?

Anyone every use the Wynjammer supercharger on a 6.0 or 5.3?

Anyone know if they are any good? The price is anyway but max boost is 6-8 I think. Which might be enough for me.

I am knew to this but I think I have to upgrade the internals of my stock engine to be able to withstand a blower. is this right?

Thanks

I appreciate the info. I really don't know much about them but want something reliable. I have heard of Paxton, Whipple and Vortec, are they the best options or what would you recommend.

Also do I need to rebuild by engine, ie Forged parts in order to put a blower safely on my truck?

Thanks

you can run a blower on stock internals... there's people here doing it up to 500rwhp and more...

if you like centrifugal, look at a ATI procharger, or a Vortec or Paxton... something a little more well known IMO...

Magnuson radix is also a very popular choice for the trucks. As well as a very complete kit.

there are alot of guys running those on the 4.3L '98+ as it is really the only option those who made them stopped and the only other is powerdyne and well the whole belt and bearing issues they have. Supposedly it runs cool but really doesn't like much more than about 8-10 psi kinda limited and doesn't really need an I/C (supposedly) I was looking at doing a LSx swap but finances brought me back to reality so I have a new plan that involves a Radix 112. we'll see. If I had a fullsize I would either do the Maggie (radix) or some type of turbo and the general concensus is you can throw a decent amount at the motor before you have to upgrade the bottom end. So the money you thought you were going to spend on the pistons and short block spend on the maggie then do an exhaust.

Cool this is good info.

I do not know the difference between centrifugal and what other options there are? What are the differences?

I am running big tires on a light truck. with Plenty of space in the engine bay. How easy is it to install one of these myself? I think since my computer is reprogramed for the kit truck I''ll have to get that reworked as well right?

Thanks for all the help!

I think they all would, but my stock computer has had emissions controls and other such things pulled out of it. Are you saying the blower comes with a program I can just upload to my current setup?

Again I know almost nothing, but if it were that easy that would be really cool.
