Look at LSX4U.com, I'm not sure if they are still a sponsor on here but they were very good to me. You can order a short block or a full stand alone package for relatively cheap.

I am struggling to get the engine out. It is free from the bellhouseing but the oil pan hits the transfer case so I cant pull it forward. I cant go any higher because the back of the engine hits by the firewall. What is the trick? Is there something else that needs removed or lowered? Thanks

Take the radiator out and intake off. Set the chains so it sits tilting up a little bit then pull it forward then up. Rock it to get the crank pulley over the top of the rad support and you are clear from there to go straight up.

It also helps a ton if you put the hood in the service position with the spring on the back bolt holes instead of the normal fronts.

how do the little bastards get in there? Any chance the mouse caused the issue? Also see all the old fuel injector O-rings just laying in there must have been from the rebuild seems sloppy to just leave them there.

here is what my oil looked like. only about 50 miles on it.

That totally sucks man. Maybe it wasn't the tuners fault.

engine stands make me nervous especially this V8. How does this look? using 10.9 class bolts using the bellhouseing holes.

That looks fine, you have a L33 5.3, all aluminum and higher compression. So it's even lighter then a normal 5.3, lol.

I removed the fuel rail from the intake when I was taking it off and 3 of the injector clips were only half on. The tuner installed the injectors. I tried to put the injectors back into the rail and get the clip on but its not working. I am wondering if there is supposed to be to o-rings? One inside the rail and one on the injector itself? My injectors are 80# bosch

There is an oring on top of the injector (injector to rail) and one on the bottom (injector to intake). Makes it much easier if you use silicone spray or wd40 to install the orings.
