Got the intercooler installed today...little more time consuming than I thought but all in all went well. I had to cut the crossbar under the hood latch to get a good fit. I also relocated my trans cooler to behind the intercooler(would not fit in front with 4" ic). I also had to cut about 4 plastic mounting tabs off the grill so the grill would go back on properly. The Dremel sure came in handy today!

I had to cut about 4 plastic mounting tabs off the grill so the grill would go back on properly without damaging the ic. The dremel got a lot of good use today! I also mocked up the cold piping everything looked good. Got a appt set with the tuner for the 17th so turbo will be on by then!

U can't go wrong with the trick kit..u are going to lobe boost

 

got the downpipe wrapped i will start the install of hot side monday when i get off work. planning on putting the springs for ~7 psi in the wastegate and using a manual boost controller to get ~10 psi for daily use. Thoughts? I also ordered a snow performance methanol kit. When should i start injecting meth i was thinking around 6psi

 

How's your build coming along? Any updates? I'm really wondering how your current cam, 226/230 113, is working out on your crew cab/turbo combo.
