I will be installing it on my 2012 gmc sierra crew cab with the mods listed below in my sig. Are there any suggestions to my current mods yall have that may help me out in making the transition to boost!? Also the truck is a flex fuel and i would like to shoot for 600-700hp if possible....what do yall think? im open to any and all suggestions

Looks like nitrous wasnt enough lol

Congrats on the purchase.

Im guessing you have a 60e?? Or am I wrong.

Current cam is not the best but will work, if you got the money consider a boost cam for a better powerband. Tellez Motorsports have some good turbo cams and making stock bottom end 5.3s hit 10s all day + they just went 9s last week.

4.11 gears will do fine IMO, look into getting a new converter or have your current one be more tight for boost.

i have a 6l80e. I dont know much about cam specs will any cam they offer work better than the other?

Also yall think i would be able to use my nitrous express stand alone tank for methanol injection? if so what would i need for that. i have the tank pump and regulator set up right now to spray race fuel with nitrous

That pump will not push enough psi.
It could extra fuel but won't get the atomization that a true meth pump can delivery.
Need to check if the regulator hoses etc are meth compatible.

Good choice for kit + ic size. a little fudge room once you get it dialed in.

I would let all parts ride until you install the kit.
See how the truck responses.

sounds good thanks i will look into the meth today. I called and left a message with you about upgrading to the 4" IC not sure if you recieved that message.

as far as boost control goes whats the best way to control boost? spring pressure or elecronic boost controller? I was thinking about getting an electronic boost gauge along with a electronic A/F gauge

Ahh i see now, its a 2012 just seen that. My first gear is useless on stock 3.42 gears.

Give the current cam a try and see how it performs, if not just get one specd out.

This will help

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...s-pics-521152/

You will 100% need injectors for anything close to 600 wheel. I have black ops 60 lbers and they are doing fine for my power level. You might need bigger ones.

If you are going to constantly be changing the tune/boost then an electronic boost controller would be best, if you are setting it to a specific hp or PSI then a manual hallman would be best.
