Its easy, and can only help. BTW, I am having difficulty hitting higher psi as well with a small pulley (2.8" pulley - now seeing 8.5-9psi, on an LQ9) I would love to be over 10psi. I am now shooting meth so IAT's hardly go above 120 after a 0-100mph run in 60* ambient with a hot motor. We'll see in the summer...
Thanks for the link...I have heard about this but not much...is there a school of thought out there that says that the crank is spinning inside the pulley at high rpm's? How likely is this? I know you say you don't need the kit, but if I do it, I would like to get the kit, where can I get one!
Thanks again!

Just spoke to Magnacharger. They will be making a 122 kit in a few months, but it will not be recommended for O.E. engine block internals or O.E. transmissions internals. We probably could have already guessed that.
I may wait or just go with the 112 kit. He gave me a bit of insight on what mods to do to compliment their Radix charger on the LQ9 to get the most efficient HP & TQ out of it without hurting the engine too much.
He didn't frown upon a custom tune like Kenne Bell has already done.
As the pocket book allows, the mods will start coming!
From what I got out of the guy I spoke with, the 122 unit will be offered as a kit. Sounds tempting huh?????

The kit makes pinning the pulley very simple . Much easier to plot the position of the pins and to drill in the right spot.
