The power doesnt fall off in the upper RPM, especially if you chose the right cam. Also you are running high compression so its plenty easy to blow up the motor with only 5psi let alone 12psi. You are getting caught up in PSI #s where you should be concerned with HP #s. The Radix can supply enough CFM to get over 500rwhp on your motor NP. If you're looking for more than that then that is understandable.

This is barely tuned on 5psi. Doesnt seem to fall off in the upper RPMs to me
thank god other people are starting to see the light.

Not sure. Rick did that tuning while I was still up in Sac. I'll ask him though. I have an appointment near the end of the month to install the new converter and finish tuning the truck with the new TB and 2bar MAP

I think they sould come out with a 4.0L radix. That sould put some instant power to the ground.

I'll give my input of what I know of the new blower coming also. From my understanding it is not going to be released as a "kit" form to install directly onto a truck or car. I was told that it will only be available as a "hot rod" type kit which means it's not going to be sold to simply bolt on and go. If they do it that way it's going to require some work to actually install it. This will include no directions, no pre-made brackets, no wiring kits, etc. Basicly you won't be able to call and say that you have a 20xx Silverado with the X.XL engine and get the 122 blower.

it sounds like you might want to push it past 500rwhp. if you do the livernos kit would be great for that. you can bolt it right on and have the ability to make ~650rwhp with the t76, maybe more with something like a gts76.

you can tow with a turbo BUT you will definately want to turn down the boost. something like 5-6psi max for towing, even at just 5psi i wouldn't go blasting up a mountain with 6000lb's behind you.

if 500rwhp will do it for you it is hard to beat the radix.

I want to come off wrong here, but with a SCR of over 10:1, 12psi and towing I think you're going to have issues no matter what type of FI you go with.

I am looking to push over the 500hp/ 500lbs tq mark. I wasn't too sure if the Radix will do it. Would like to get at least 450-475 at the rear wheels.
I will not be changing the cam out at this time. At least I don't think I will.
I really liked the Livernois turbo set-up, but I will be curious if it will work for towing, and how well it will tow with it.
Really wish Radix was coming out with a bigger "kit" for our trucks.
I may be asking for too much power with stock cam, but I could be just dreaming.
I'll talk to Magnacharger tomarrow.

There are plenty of members here making exactly the numbers you are looking for with the Radix kit. A cam swap would make it very easy to hit that "peak" number you are looking for, but remember that most of the gain you are going to see from the cam is going to be in the upper RPM range. Personally, I decided I wanted to keep my number down to about 450hp at the wheels rather than hit the 500 mark because I do a lot of towing also, rather than throw a few more pounds of boost at it.
