Sounds like a question for a class racer. They seem to know best what power adders compare. A D1SC is just a little behind a 75/76mm in terms of power potential.

^^^ Yeh, the D1 is good for about 950-1000 HP. I am sure the F series is comparable to 80mm +

In Real Street x275 they are allowed 76mm cast turbos and D1's... with that being said i havint seen a D1 supercharger at the top of the heap so im sure the new 76mm turbos blow the D1's out of the water.

Ultra street is a little different. they are allowed billet 76mm and cast 80mm, On the supercharger side they are allowed F1A and F1C

Ultra
F1A-3150
F1C – 3200
YSI – 3200

TURBO WEIGHTS:
T-76 - 3150 (add 50lb for billet wheel)
T-80 - 3200

I'll admit I have thought about an F1 on my truck a couple times now that is not a DD... I thought it would make for a pretty fast street truck. Obviously I'd never come close to you 2wd rcsb guys from a roll though. At the end of the day I had to stick to my guns. Its a heavy truck with AWD... it begs for a PD blower.

I have been following and helping Kurt (02_Orange_D1SC) with his build, and helping with his tune lately, and I'm really impressed by his truck. He's barely making 9 PSI right at redline on his track tune, and its a rocket ship.

The build is there to make it a pretty insane street truck. He has great heads, a big cam, high compression, and displacement is in the right range for the D1. Running a 3.85" pulley and the stock balancer there is a lot of boost left to be made and he is already hitting high enough MPH for a real low 11.

I'm curious why you say that turbo is "easy." I'd argue superchargers are "easier." I've put a hell of a lot of time and money into my setup and haven't got the results yet that I want. I could just as easily argue that if I wanted a bolt on easy setup I'd go with a procharger. I don't knock PC's infact I want to run one in the future they flat out perform, so I don't see the point in knocking turbo setups.

I have stayed away from blowers purely because i dont have the patience to deal with belt issues. Lol. With that being said, i would love to have a tvs for my next setup on my daily.

you'd be surprised how long it took me to work all the bugs out of my Procharger setup between tossing belts broken alt bracket broken belt tensioner i was fed up ready to push my truck outside and burn it lol.

you can have a really nice turbo kit from trick or on3 performance and not have to deal with belt slip buying pulleys to make more boost buying belts etc etc

the stock procharger setup sucks imo the main bracket is cheesy as hell flexes more then it should the intercooler is a joke mounted underneath front bumper

if i was to do it over id buy a turbo but I've got to much money and time invested in the Proharger setup to bail out on it i just enjoy giving you turbo guys a hard time

Sorry dude. Just because you have belt issues doesn't mean turbos are easier. We have just as many issues to work through, if not more, than you do. They are just different kinds of issues. Bottom line is this isn't a turbo vs supercharger thread so no reason to knock either.

OP, I'm a procharger virgin so what is the difference between the f1x-12 and your F2?
