Talk about prochargers

George is right, belt length is hugely important with a procharger... you need a belt thats as small as possible. Think "fat guy in a little coat".
The 3.7 may not slip, I have never seen one run on a D1 in person. I know the 3.85 didnt slip bad, but there was belt dust everywhere. I will say this... even with a 12 rib belt on a D1 and a 3.25" blower pulley with a stock diameter balancer there were minor belt slip issues. That's with a kit that is literally made with a specific belt length in mind. The P1 and D1 may be similar units, but I think the D1 reaches the end of a 6 rib's capability much quicker.

Other thing is witbout belt slip of some sort youll have hurt cranks with a blower
Ever been around big roots blower like a 8-71 or 10-71? There belt is so loose at startup
If ya dont want slip go cog but hopefully motor is built for a cog setup and has crank support

when i ran my old 6 rib i ran a 113 length belt worked like a charm and like stated belt length makes a huge difference
the P1SC has a less aggressive impeller then the D1SC thats the only difference

My next dilemma is the FMIC I decided to run, I can't seem to figure out a way to squeeze 3" piping around the radiator.. It's a 2006 GMC Sierra, obviously I need to cut the headlight buckets up, im starting to get frustrated.

Squeezed on a 111.5 belt tonight with the stock tensioner maxed out, and using a flat head to slide it on. That tight enough? I can turn the motor over with a ratchet on the blower pulley bolt

the GMC has more room then a chevy the 99-02 is the worst i fit a 12x24x3 cxracing intercooler right behind my grille with some minor cutting
