Exclamation Supercharger & Turbo

would it be possible to run a turbo and a supercharger on a 5.3 one for low end and one for the higher end.. I'm new and was just thinking out loud..

possible, yes but no reason... get a badass dual ball bearing turbo and forget about turbo lag

it is possible. but i would save a couple thousand dollars and just go with one or the other. I personally run a garrett precision t88 wet floater. and i dont have much turbo lag at all. I can foot break with my stall and build 9 psi before i ever leave the line. but doing that to much is asking for my tranny to die early.and thats on a built tranny.

The thing about one for low end, one for top end is that they will choke each other out.
Once the Supercharger reaches its peak flow, the turbo isn't going to be able to reach it's max, because you can't push any more air through the intake than what is already there.

there is a 40 page thread here if you want to do the search...one member was going to give it a try and gave up. The complexity of it just deters the hobbyist.
