A few years back I was at the M-Event and there was a GTP there running the stock blower and a turbo. It did run well, but was only a couple of tenths quicker than a similarly modded blower only GTP that was also running that day. Many of the GTP guys that switch to turbo's have just gutted the supercharger.

There is a company that took a Termi Cobra with the stock bottom end and put a twon turbo setup on it. It was posted on Tech and the video was on Youtube.com
